You can change the Logos, application links (such as Help > about) and set your own pricing model. The white label feature is part if our reseller account. Once you subscribe as a reseller, you will be able to take advantage of the Advertising Engine and White Label products.  Some of the other reseller features include multi user access list control and more. As you can see, there are many benefits to becoming a reseller. When it comes down to it, MediaSignage is a software company. We provide the tools that you need to build your own Digital Signage and Kiosk solution. We do not interfere with your business model. You are welcome to use our software as service solution anyway you like (within the guide lines of our license agreements). This means that you can OEM the software, distribute it, white label it, license it annually, sell it with service contracts or find other ways that will accommodate your personalized product offering. The bottom line is that we provide the tools for you to make money and succeed. We do not consider ourselves your partner. Partners take share in your profits, are involved in your operations and have a say on how you run your business; thus we are not your partner but rather a company which delivers the tools that you need to prosper and be dominant in your field. Can I remove the MediaSignage Logo that is displayed when the Player is restarted ? Yes, any end user account which is associated with a reseller account will display the reseller business name upon an AIRPlayer reboot. This makes MediaSignage completely transparent to the customer. If you wish you may even display your own custom swf animation to display upon an AIRPlayer reboot; once you are setup as a reseller. What is stopping customers from finding and buying directly from MediaSignage ? There are 3 parts to the answer. Part1: You may choose on becoming a passive reseller. In other words, you white label our product on your own web site. Web visitors come to your site and subscribe to the service. You passively gain new customers which you never met and never sold to directly. If you choose this approach you can match our prices and still make good profit margins ( about 40%-50%) as indicated on our pricing calculator. Set to match our prices, be sure to set the gain to 1 on the pricing calculator. ( http://www.mediasignage.com/html/reseller_calc.html ) So, you are making very good repeat, passive income every single month, simply by matching our prices. Customers receive no benefit when subscribing directly thorough us. Plus you can give them phone customer support which will not do after our final release (this is on purpose to try and promote resellers). Part2: You can be more expansive than us. Simply increase the gain value on the pricing calculator ( http://www.mediasignage.com/html/reseller_calc.html ) If you decide to be more expansive you may choose to give additional services such as added technical support, several hours of content creation, run educational Webinars and other possible added value services. Of course you may also choose to be more expansive and not offer anything else, it's completely up to you. Part3: MediaSignage has taken elaborate steps to hide ourselves from your customers as we use a 3rd party domain name ( www singange dot me ). This will prevent your web visitors from ever finding us through your white labeled product. What can I expect from the future of the referral / white label program ? We are working on an advanced billing module so you can you decide who will charge you customers (you or us). We will also include a new embedded component for pricing so you may set your own pricing structure plus much more. This sounds too good to be true, what am I missing ? Nothing. MediaSignage Inc is changing the face of Digital Signage and we want to give everyone the opportunity to share our success in this fast developing advertising medium of Digital Signage. Can I change from a white label to referral and vice versa ? Yes, you are not bound to a contract and you may change your service type agreement at any time. Why are you prices so inexpensive ? It is our core business model to offer quality Digital Signage that everyone can afford. Can I get technical support on behalf of my subscribers ?? Yes, we will support resellers any way we can. How does a reseller track subscribers and refers ? resellers use reseller studio to view in real time everything that is going on. In other words, as soon as web visitor opens a free account, as soon as a free account is converted into a subscribed user or even changes to the number of players, all can be monitored. Also, resellers will receive regular email notifications when a new free user / subscriber create an account using your reseller web site. How do I embed your Flash components in my web site and what are the requirements ? Under the Reseller studio click on tools to view sample HTML snippet which can be used to copy and paste onto your own site. These components include both the referrer and white label HTML and JavaScript snippets. Do I need to know how to program in order to become a referral or use white label ? No. We take care of that for you. You just need to copy and paste our HTML reseller code Can I charge different rates from the ones posted at MediaSignage ? Yes. It's completely up to you to setup your own reseller pricing plan. You can be more competitive and offer lower prices. Or you can charge higher prices and include added-value narrowcasting services such as several hours of included Digital Signage presentation design, free phone technical support and other packaged benefits. How can I control the pricing that my subscribers pay through my white labeled site ? For now you can post them using standard HTML form or an image. In the near future we will have an advanced pricing component which you will be able to embed in your web site as well. The component will be similar to the pricing component posted at MediaSignage.com and you will have the ability to control the pricing through this component. While MediaSignage is in beta, can I start charging for my services ? Yes. You may begin to use our white label and referral reseller program to collect potential future subscribers even while we are in beta release. Once we convert our services to paid services (exit beta release) you will receive credit for these accounts. You will only receive credit for months in which we charge your subscribers. While in beta you will be able to monitor your associated accounts using our web administration interface. Are there any costs or hidden fees associated with the reseller program ? The fees are posted on the reseller page. We do not believe in hidden fees. Paypal.com may charge you fees for payments sent from us to you. Can my web visitors find out about MediaSignage when I use white label ? No. We use our alias name of www Signage dot me to hide MediaSignage when white label is used. What if a competing web site directs users to MediaSignage? The last referring web site before a free user subscribes to paid services is the reseller who gets the credit, So if site A refers user X and few days later site B refers user X; at any point after when user X converts the free account into a subscriber account, site B will receive the credit as it is the last referring site. What if the referred user becomes a white label or referred account ? You will only receive credit and capital reimbursement for referred free users that sign up (convert) for a subscription service (i.e. they do not become white labels or referred sites themselves). white labels or referred accounts do not fall under the category of a subscriber account thus no financial reimbursements are paid out in such cases.
