SignagePlayer Desktop version is a software application which runs on a PC and it, you guessed it, plays your signage presentation. It comes in two forms, a Web version and a Desktop version. The Desktop version of SignagePlayer requires one license for each computer it runs on. But each computer can control an unlimited number of monitors (if you use a video splitter that is). Lets give you an example -- Bob has a retail store with three computers. He connected the first computer to just one monitor, the second computer is connected to two monitors and the third computer is connected to four monitors. The total disk storage space Bob requires to save all of the media files is 1GB. So Bob subscribes to a monthly package of three licenses and 1GB of storage.
Keep in mind, that 1GB of space is actually on our central servers. That’s where we keep all your media files (including videos and images) Your SignagePlayer will download and cache the media files to its local hard drive. So you only need to purchase enough disk space on our web server to accommodate a single copy of the your total media files.
At anytime you may add or remove licenses as you see fit. You can also increase or decrease your storage capacity at any time.
